Here’s what Second Graders did to learn what the letter E sounds like en español:

Here’s what Second Graders did to learn what the letter E sounds like en español:

1. We did some research to find a word with a good E sound. We looked in picture dictionaries, around the Spanish classroom, and on the computer.

2. We made a list of what we needed to create a model for the word we chose.

3. We made a video of the words!

To learn the sound of the vowel E in Spanish, each Room 4 friend looked for a word with E, and then created a model of that word.  Here’s a list of the words the boys and girls found: First Grade E Words

PreK classes have spent the last week learning the color words ROJO (red), AZUL (blue), AMARILLO (yellow), and VERDE (green). They made estrellas (stars) and flores (flowers) using these colors.
